Showcasing Scotland Grocery is a brand new event from Scotland Food & Drink that gives Scottish food and drink suppliers the opportunity to expand their reach across the UK.
This exclusive event is open to suppliers of bakery (long life), biscuits, confectionery, crisps & snacks, canned grocery, preserves, canned soup, dried herbs/spices/salt, sauces/condiments, dressings, pickles, oils, cereals, meal kits & cooking ingredients, convenience foods, free from, squash, water, and coffee, tea & hot chocolate.
It is a fantastic opportunity for suppliers to connect directly with top UK buyers and decision-makers from major retail, on-trade, foodservice, e-commerce, and wholesale businesses.

Suppliers: Who should attend?
Scottish food and drink suppliers of bakery (long life), biscuits, confectionery, crisps & snacks, canned grocery, preserves, canned soup, dried herbs/spices/salt, sauces/condiments, dressings, pickles, oils, cereals, meal kits & cooking ingredients, convenience foods, free from, squash, water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, with capability and ambition to grow in rest of the UK. Suppliers requirements:
- Businesses must be registered in Scotland
- Businesses must have SALSA or BRC accreditation (or equivalent standard)
- Businesses must have an established distribution route with a scale retailer, wholesaler or foodservice partner in Scotland, as a minimum
- Businesses should be targeting multiple retailers, scale foodservice or regional and national wholesalers in London or the south of England
Please note, preference will be given to businesses with a turnover >£1 million who are able to demonstrate 12 months trade sales.
Buyers: Who should attend?
Buyers and key decision makers located in London or the south of England. If you represent one of the following, this is your opportunity to get ahead of trends and connect with Scotland’s food and drink innovators:
- Multiple retailer, supermarket, regional or convenience retail group, large foodhall or specialist group retail
- E-commerce operator
- Scale foodservice, multiple-site caterer, group travel & leisure operator, large visitor attraction, group pub, on-trade, restaurant or hotel operator
Buyers must represent at least one of the following sectors: bakery (long life), premium grocery, dry goods, packaged & convenience foods, sweets & treats, condiments & sauces, and teas/ coffees/ water.
Diverse Representation
We will carefully curate a balanced mix of bakery (long life), biscuits, confectionery, crisps & snacks, canned grocery, preserves, canned soup, dried herbs/spices/salt, sauces/condiments, dressings, pickles, oils, cereals, meal kits & cooking ingredients, convenience foods, free from, squash, water, and coffee, tea & hot chocolate to ensure fair representation across the sector. Participants will range from local artisans with compelling stories to Scotland’s flagship brands and leading manufacturers.
All producers are rigorously pre-qualified based on their ambition, technical prowess, and capacity for growth, quality and accreditations, with SALSA or BRC being the minimum.
Producers will have the opportunity to meet buyers from London and the south of England.
The Showcasing Scotland Grocery team will use advanced meeting software to arrange supplier and buyer meetings for attendees. Both buyers and suppliers can research attendees and request their own meetings, with the team supporting these requests where possible. The team will offer support before and during the event so each attendee has an empowering experience at Showcasing Scotland Grocery.
